Children's librarian, Dorajoe Messerly, will be leading children to the joy of reading once again with Story Time at the Soda Springs Public Library. Story Time will be on Tuesdays at 10:30 and 11:30 starting September 8th. No registration is required.

Lavapalooza will be September 11th. A day of peace, music, and motorcycles: the charity ride will leave Golden Spike Harley Davidson in Ogden Utah at 1 pm, music starts in Lava Hot Springs at 3 pm. No need to ride to enjoy the music. Find out more at www.lavapalooza.org.

The Museum of Idaho presents Wolf to Woof: The Story of Dogs Monday through Saturday until September 11^th. This hand-on, interactive exhibit uses familiarity and love of these four-legged friends to explore science and biological concepts. This truly is an exhibit to howl about! Register now for the Soda "Screamer" Half Marathon at www.thesodascreamer.blogspot.com. 13.1 Miles of Halloween fun will take you along the beautiful park trails of Soda Springs on October 9th at 8 am at Kelly Park. Each participant will recieve a long-sleeved technical fabric shirt, goodies, a finisher's medal and more. Costumes are encouraged. Registration will close September 15th. Cariboo Development Foundation/Greater Soda Springs Community Development Committee meetings are held at City Hall the third Tuesday of every month (September 21^st, October 19^th, November 16^th, December 21^st) at 5:15 pm. New volunteers are always welcome.

Soda Springs Chamber of Commerce will meet the second Thursday  of every month (September 9^th, October 14^th, November 11^th, and December 9^th) at 8 am at City Hall.
